Catherine Nelson / Controller
Catherine serves as the Controller for Montana Avenue Capital Partners, LLC. She manages all accounting and tax reporting of the Company and its affiliates, as well as the oversight of third-party property management companies’ accounting for properties.
Catherine is a California CPA with over 25 years of experience in public and private accounting with an emphasis in real estate industries. Prior to joining MAC, Catherine was previously a tax partner in a boutique public accounting firm, a senior tax manager at SunAmerica, a subsidiary of AIG, and a tax manager / senior auditor at Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser LLP.
Catherine earned a Master’s in Taxation from University of Southern California, an MBA from Eastern New Mexico University, and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University.
